Quality
We work according to the guidelines of our professional association, the KNOV, and according to national and partly local protocols developed in consultation with gynecologists from nearby hospitals. Our entire team is BIG-registered, enrolled in the Quality Register for Midwives, and a member of the Royal Dutch Organization of Midwives (KNOV).
We look forward to meeting you.
Together with you, we want to ensure that your pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period are guided in the way that suits you best. You can choose to have one dedicated midwife for your consultations and for the (regular) ultrasounds. You can also opt for group consultations (Centering Pregnancy). We try our best to meet the wishes of pregnant women; for example, more time during consultations is no problem at all.
Consultation hours
Consultations are held at our practice from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 16:00. On Tuesdays, we also have evening consultations until 21:00. Please always report to the Practice Assistant upon arrival. If there are any changes to your address, telephone number, or insurance provider, please also inform the Practice Assistant. Every day, we hold two consultation sessions for regular pregnancy check-ups and at least one ultrasound session. You will be seen in the order of your appointment by the Midwife who prepared your check-up (so not in order of arrival). We do our best to see everyone on time; therefore, it is important that you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. This prevents unnecessary waiting time for others. In the event that extra time is needed to properly monitor your pregnancy (such as a consultation at the hospital), we will certainly take this time for you. We do this for everyone who needs it, which is why we ask for your understanding regarding any potential waiting time.
