Dunia Gomes

I am Dunia Gomes. After completing my nursing education, I immediately began midwifery training. After all, this has always been my dream. I have been working at Verloskundigen Rotterdam West since 2014. The special thing about my profession is that I get to guide women from the moment they wish to conceive right through the postpartum period. In multicultural Rotterdam, I do this together with my colleagues, with great enthusiasm. I feel honored to see women transform into mothers during this process.

My strength lies in my adaptability. After all, midwifery isn’t always a bed of roses. With this quality, I hope to make a positive contribution to the experience of (future) parents in various situations and circumstances.
