Approximately six weeks after the delivery, you can still make an appointment at the outpatient clinic for a postnatal check-up with the midwife who assisted with your delivery. If you gave birth in the hospital under the supervision of a gynecologist, you are of course also very welcome for the postnatal check-up.
During this appointment, we can answer and clarify any remaining questions and uncertainties regarding the delivery. We would also love to see you and your baby again!
During this appointment, you can discuss any issues that have arisen since the end of the postpartum period, and we can explain the various contraceptive methods again. We will also check your blood pressure and, if necessary, your iron levels. Furthermore, we will discuss with you whether there are any consequences or additional advice for a potential future pregnancy.
