We are a training practice for midwifery students from the Rotterdam Midwifery Academy (VAR). With your permission, they will be present with us during consultations, deliveries, and postpartum check-ups. Depending on the level of the student midwife and the pregnant woman’s wishes, procedures will also be performed independently.
The students from the VAR are often very enthusiastic and passionate about learning the profession. Pregnant women and partners, as well as we as midwives, therefore often really enjoy having the students present. Of course, you are also always free to choose to be seen without a student.
