You cannot prevent a miscarriage. Unfortunately, not every pregnancy goes well. When your body rejects the fetus, it is a very emotional experience that many women, rightly, can suffer from for a long time.
If you have any symptoms, you are always very welcome at the consultation hour; we can use an ultrasound to see what is going on. We will then determine the next steps and guide you through them. We will also stay in contact after the miscarriage to ensure that both your mental and physical recovery proceeds well.
What can happen during a miscarriage?
-Blood loss may occur, often bright red, sometimes with clots.
-Abdominal cramps may occur
-Fever may develop, in which case the temperature is above 38.5 degrees
-You may become dizzy, or feel like you are going to faint
