{"id":1872,"date":"2026-02-17T11:15:09","date_gmt":"2026-02-17T10:15:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/verloskundigenrotterdamwest.nl\/gynecological-consultation-hours\/"},"modified":"2026-03-19T10:34:43","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T09:34:43","slug":"gynecological-consultation-hours","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/verloskundigenrotterdamwest.nl\/en\/pregnant\/gynecological-consultation-hours\/","title":{"rendered":"Gynecological consultation hours"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1727\" src=\"https:\/\/verloskundigenrotterdamwest.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/IMG_20220921_101837_647-480x427.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"267\" title=\"\"><\/h2>\n<h2>Joint consultation hours with the Gynecologist &amp; Midwife<\/h2>\n<p>We maintain a close collaboration with Erasmus MC.<\/p>\n<p>This has resulted in the following partnership: once a month, our practice hosts joint consultation hours with Dr. B. van Rijn from Erasmus MC and one of our midwives.<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, our pregnant clients no longer need to visit the Obstetrics outpatient clinic at the EMC during their pregnancy for this specific consultation.<\/p>\n<p>Examples of indications for the joint consultation hours include:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Excessive blood loss after the previous delivery (Postpartum hemorrhage)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Medication use during the current pregnancy<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Previous delivery via cesarean section<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; A high BMI (body mass index)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Other consultation requirements during the current pregnancy<\/p>\n<p>Our midwife will indicate during your appointment if there is a medical reason for you to attend these consultation hours and will schedule you accordingly in <a href=\"https:\/\/verloskundigenrotterdamwest.nl\/gynaecoloog-rotterdam\/\">Rotterdam<\/a>.
