The 13-week ultrasound is a medical examination for congenital physical abnormalities in your child. In the Netherlands, you can opt for this ultrasound if you participate in the scientific IMITAS study.<\/p>\n<p>This ultrasound is performed from 12+3 weeks up to and including 14+3 weeks of pregnancy. The examination takes approximately 30 minutes. The goal is to provide you as parents with more information about your child&#8217;s health. If an abnormality (or suspected abnormality) is found, you may be referred to prenatal diagnostics at Erasmus MC. The research does not offer a 100% guarantee of a healthy child.<\/p>\n<p>This ultrasound is free. You can only have a thirteen-week ultrasound once per pregnancy.<\/p>\n<p>Are you not (yet) a client of ours, but would you like to have the screening ultrasounds at our practice?
