The chance of him or her turning is becoming increasingly smaller. By far the majority of babies are now in the occipital presentation. This is a perfect position for delivery, as it allows the head to adapt to the shape of the pelvis during labor.

Your child may also be in a forehead or face presentation. This position is slightly less favorable because the pelvis is often too small to give the head enough room. A Cesarean section is often necessary in such a position. Furthermore, your baby may be in a complete or incomplete breech presentation.

In a complete breech presentation, the baby lies with the feet down; in an incomplete breech presentation, the buttocks come first. Finally, it is also possible that your child is in a transverse position. In this position, a natural birth is impossible, and you will always have a Cesarean section.

You

You will be going on maternity leave soon. A nice prospect. But because of that, things might actually be extra busy at work right now. Perhaps you want to quickly finish a few tasks because you won’t be there for sixteen weeks or longer. And maybe you are extra busy right now because you have to train a replacement.

Tension and stress are, of course, the last things you need right now. No matter how difficult it is at times, take care of yourself. If you are tired in the evening, at the very least do not schedule any appointments during the night hours. Be honest with your colleagues about what you can and cannot handle, and do not feel guilty if you have to say no occasionally.

Stress is not good for your child. If you are very stressed, your blood vessels, including those of the uterus, can constrict and consequently receive less blood flow. So, stress less. If you don’t do it for yourself, at least do it for your child.

Week 33 Final stance Your baby Your child can now hardly move and is most likely already in the position…

["post-1844","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
