And usually, that happens precisely when you are lying down nice and quietly. So, when you are stretched out on the couch in front of the television in the evening, when you have just gotten into bed, or when you wake up in the morning, you are most likely to be able to enjoy your child&#8217;s kicking for a moment.  <\/p>\n<p>In itself, that is not so surprising. After all, when you are busy, your child is rocked to sleep by your movements. Moreover, you simply notice the kicking less quickly when you are occupied.  <\/p>\n<p>Incidentally, your child sleeps for by far the largest part of the day. And he or she is already doing so in a favorite sleeping position. This can be different for every baby: with the chin on the chest and knees drawn up, with one leg stretched out, or with a hand on the head. Later, after the birth, you will be able to see for yourself which position your baby liked best, because during that first period, he or she will also prefer to lie in this position.   <\/p>\n<h3>You<\/h3>\n<p>From now on, you are really going to get bigger; you will gain about a pound every week. You already have a firm belly, but it isn&#8217;t super big yet. Of course, gaining weight is part of pregnancy, but you can still be quite shocked by all those kilos flying on. However, this is definitely not the time to start dieting. In fact, dieting is downright bad for your baby. By dieting, harmful substances stored in the fat enter your bloodstream and reach the baby via your blood.     <\/p>\n<p>So, don&#8217;t worry too much about your weight right now. If the kilos are piling on very quickly, take a look at your eating habits. Perhaps you could eat fruit or raw vegetables more often instead of a snack when you feel hungry.
