For instance, even as small as they are, they already have a clear facial expression and occasionally make a grimace or frown. Also, if you pay very close attention, you might now be able to spot a pattern in their movements.

Your child has their own sleep-wake rhythm. You can also already see some character traits reflected in their way of moving. If he or she is kicking their legs very vigorously now, you will notice that your child does the same after birth. Do you feel like your whole belly is moving back and forth and up and down? Your child is probably turning from a head-down position to a breech position, or vice versa.

You

Suffering from a nagging or stabbing pain in your lower back or near the pubic bone? That could indicate pelvic instability. One in four women suffers from this during pregnancy. Under the influence of pregnancy hormones, the connections between the bones in the pelvis become more flexible. This is necessary to ensure sufficient space and elasticity during childbirth so that the baby can be born. However, sometimes the pelvis becomes too unstable, and this can cause symptoms.

Incidentally, pain in your back or near the pubic bone does not necessarily mean pelvic instability. It might simply be ligament pain or back pain caused by poor posture. Therefore, always visit your GP or discuss your symptoms with your midwife to find out exactly what is going on. Alternatively, you can of course make an appointment with a pelvic physiotherapist.

Week 29 Own personality and character Your baby Your child is increasingly developing their own personality and little character.
