Perhaps he or she is already lying neatly head down, but it is also quite possible that your child is in a breech position. Don’t worry. Your baby still has at least two weeks to turn around in the womb.

Do you occasionally feel a regular tapping in your belly? Then your baby has the hiccups. Sometimes you can even see your belly move. These hiccups occur because your baby drinks the amniotic fluid. If his or her tummy is too full, the diaphragm is irritated and contracts in a reflex. The hiccups may last for a little while, but they will go away on their own and are not harmful.

You

Around this time, the top edge of the uterus reaches halfway between your navel and your breastbone. The uterus may then press slightly against your ribs, causing a feeling of breathlessness from time to time. When your baby descends around the thirty-sixth week, there will be more room again, and you will naturally be able to breathe more easily.

During this phase of pregnancy, you can be so busy with your expanding belly, visits to the midwife, decorating the nursery, arranging childcare, etc., that your relationship sometimes takes a back seat. Even before your baby is born, you are already more father and mother than partner. And that can lead to tension. Therefore, try to make time for each other and keep talking about your feelings and expectations.

Week 30 The hiccups Your baby It is getting increasingly cramped for your baby in your belly.
