This really needs to be applied for in good time. <\/li>\r\n<li>Register for maternity care. Most maternity care agencies appreciate it if you register early in your pregnancy. <\/li>\r\n<\/ul><br><h2>2e trimester<\/h2><br><ul>\r\n<li>Course: consider a course such as yoga, pregnancy swimming, etc. Most courses start around the 28th week. <\/li>\r\n<li>Course at the practice: If you would like to participate in one or both of the courses\/information sessions offered by the practice, please inform the assistant in good time!<\/li>\r\n<li>Registering for the Birth Center. Do you already know where you want to give birth? If you choose the Birth Center, you must register in time!  <\/li>\r\n<li>Employer: If you work, you must inform your employer of your pregnancy. However, legally, this is only required 3 months before the due date. You can obtain a pregnancy certificate from us at the practice; this is also for your employer. This allows you to take this into account when planning your maternity leave.   <\/li>\r\n<li>Requesting the maternity package: you can request this from your health insurer. It is possible that your insurance does not cover this, in which case you can purchase the items yourself. <\/li>\r\n<li>Acknowledgment: if you are not married, inquire about the acknowledgment of the baby.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul><br><h2>3e trimester<\/h2><br><ul>\r\n<li>Bed on blocks: preferably at a height of 80 cm, and borrow a bedpan. You can borrow the blocks and the bedpan from the Home Care Equipment Rental Service. <\/li>\r\n<li>Go-bag: make sure you have a go-bag ready. If you unexpectedly have to go to the hospital, it already contains everything you need. <\/li>\r\n<li>Check all the lists one more time.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul><br><p>Do you want to know what should be in a maternity pack and a hospital bag?
